LPAB Stale Learning
In order to be admitted as a lawyer in NSW, you must complete an accredited law degree (i.e. Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor) and an accredited program of practical legal training (PLT). UTS is the only university in Sydney to offer both the academic and practical legal training requirements for admission as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of NSW. The UTS Graduate Certificate in Professional Legal Practice is accredited by the LPAB and offers students a university-standard level of teaching, involving interactive activities such as practice courts, simulated practice transactions and skills training. It is available part-time and full-time, distance mode and on-campus, with three intakes per year. At UTS you can concurrently undertake your Practical Experience with your PLT coursework subjects. FEE -HELP is available to cover the cost.
LPAB Stale Learning Clause
The stale learning clause requires that, at the time an applicant applies for admission as a lawyer, completion of their academic and practical legal training requirements for admission must have occurred within the previous five years. To obtain a LPAB certificate in Australia, buy LPAB certificate. From 1 January 2015 applicants who have completed their academic and practical legal training courses more than 5 years prior to the time they would normally apply for admission will need to have their qualifications assessed.
